SHOWING OFF MY COLLECTION
Even though only two people showed up they sure enjoyed the show. Thanks mom and dad!
ACOUSTIC ARMOR
My AE275 "flamed-sunburst" 6 string and AG100D acoustic amp with extention speaker is the coolest setup I have ever played through. In fact, all my guitars sound their best through the AG100D. It's like the "Swiss Army Knife" of guitar amps. My vocals even sound better through it than they do on my P.A.system!
TROPICAL TERROR
This DC127 made from Hawaiian Koa, a beautiful and rare wood, sounds really warm. Played through a Peavey "Transtube" 15 watt "Blazer" and an all tube Fender 60 watt "Super 60", things can get downright HOT!
NATURAL DISASTER
This 1992 DC145 with it's natural wood finish sports a "humbucker/single coil/humbucker" pickup configuation. The neck position humbucker with the bass rolled up to max renders a Clapton-like "woman-tone" It also has a tung oil finish on the neck which feels great. Played through the Fender Super 60 with an extention cabinet it is a "wolf in sheep's clothing". Mucho tone to the bone!
LES PAUL?????
I have often thought about purchasing a Les Paul but the high price and extremely heavy weight of those guitars always put me off. The SC90 with it's L.P. style pickups and controls was a dream come true for me. No, it doesn't sound exactly like a Les Paul but with a bit of tweaking it comes very close. It's lightweight and it plays like a dream. With its gold hardware on a tobacco sunburst body, it is one sexy looking axe! The Fender Super 60 supplies the warm tube tone while the Peavey Bandit gives it an edge. I refer to my SC90 as my "More Paul."
LOOK ..... UP IN THE SKY!
It's a plane ... It's a bird ... NO ... it's my Cavin BC130! (rare). White body with black hardware and a Kahler (Floyd type) tremolo with locking nut. It also has a tung oil finish on the neck and a humbucker/single/single pickup configuration.

This was my first Carvin and I have had it for almost 10 years. This was the axe that showed me the quality of Carvins and I have played their guitars exclusively ever since. I have always used it with my Peavey Bandit.
BLACK TIE AND TAILS
This DC127 looks like it's wearing a formal tux. Black body with gold hardware right down to the whammy bar on the Wilkenson tremolo and the gold bezels around each of the Seymour Duncan humbuckers. It also has abalone block inlays on the neck.

My friend, who has a black Les Paul Custom, came over to jam and we placed the 2 guitars side by side. They looked like a matched set! Absolutely beautiful!

Once again the Peavey Bandit with extention speaker proved to be a great sounding amp for this guitar.
